Sunday, December 28, 2008 6:58 PM dee is off to malacca with his company for meetings till thurs, 1st jan. it's such a spoiler, isn't it? but well, no choice either. if voicing out to the mgr entails no changes, then just forget it and tag along with the plan. he left the car with me; so i'll be driving to sch these few days based on directions from google directory maps. i seriously hope i'll be able to reach there and not turn wrongly and made some stupid detours which will take me ages to reach NYP. it's time to relax a lil instead of being so tensed up all the time. off to bt pj plaza to get a new cashcard with bro; mine's an old edition. btw, do go to Jurong Point if u guys have the time; it's soo mega big with the newly added extension; i'm so shocked! it's vivocity of the west! we finally have a shopping mall to be proud of!

Monday, December 22, 2008 8:41 PM  it has been quite some time since i met up with lovely Jialing, always a pleasure to meet up. we've always been each other's pillar of support in times of needs. though the meetups are always once in a while, we never run out of topics when we see each other. that's how best friends are.. =)was at lot 1 earlier; it was like a warzone. right smack in the center of the mall was sasa's beauty fair, many people were squashed there, choosing and picking the cheapest item to get & go. with the economic downturn, i guess that's probably where some might get cheap gifts for ppl and for themselves, right? cheery moods are everywhere with christmas round the corner. this week is a very short week; holiday mood starting fr today. it really feels good to go a empty school; with all diploma students on study break whereas the poor accelerated "uncles and aunties" still gotta slog in school. it's time to set new year resolution for 09 - i want to be a better person.

Thursday, December 11, 2008 9:05 PM I'vn had a good chillout session with a very good friend for ages; and I totally enjoyed today's short dinner session with my best friend. We talked a lot about old times, about futures, abt our bfs (all gd points eh?) and it strikes me that we've known each other for 5 years now; and still counting.. The best thing that happened to me in NP is knowing You! And.. i'm also very honoured to be one of the first fews to go through moments of life and death with you, meaning one of the first fews to sit in your car. Haha! While she was starting up the car, I requested for time to say a short prayer. (Lol!) She almost really wanted to bash me up. :P And I'm really looking forward to seeing YOU & Ling again VERY SOON! OK? I love you. And I seriously still can't believe that you'll be off to Aussie AGAIN in a month or two's time, for good. Why why?! I promise I'll save up money to go over to visit you, but please give me time to save ok? =) I love you I love you I love you my bestie wee. the stress is really starting to build up again; for the weeks to come, there're countless tests..and i'm left with lil time to practice for my practical exam. a few more NEW projects are also given to us recently; added workload and stress. lemme count, how many projs till now ahh..? 8? or 9? talking about it makes me more stressed.. stress relief therapy now:

Tuesday, December 9, 2008 11:30 PM staying up late to celebrate my brother's 20th birthday. it's the first time that we've stayed up as a family; for a birthday surprise for my brother. it's a pity that he's having common tests this week and aint free to go out for proper celebrations.. D & I pooled our resources to share an angbao for him as a gift; not too sure what i shld get 4 him.. better den nth right? received a bad news today. nursing structure will most probably be back to normal due to some miscommunication which nv shld have happened. can't be bothered to mention it.. we're pissed, sad and disappointed. no more CNY's and no more freedoms. Y r we having exam a few wks earlier than normal dip's students? we're jus studs who happened to tke a accelerated course; mercy on us.. managed to do a few slides for pharmacology proj; which srsly ain't as easy as i expected. hey, what's up with beta blockers, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors and all those pharmacokinetics stuffs?! and all those Adverse Drug Reactions!? also rec' another piece of bad news today; be having pharmacology test AGAIN next fri.. srsly feel like burning my lecture notes already. one word: tired. but i'll move on... pls bear with me; need an avenue to release my stress if not i'll go berserk. okay, countdown to 12am starts down. 20 more minutes. 25 more minutes to getting back in bed and getting all fuzz and warmed up by my comforter. 30 more minutes to shopping in lala land.. *whistles* let's see if i can wake up at 530 tmr to meet doreen and yumi for a run at 630am @ stadium...

Monday, December 8, 2008 12:12 PM after my previous post last sunday, another classmate of ours decided to quit the course on Thursday. it came as a mini shock to us though.. but well, having to deal with 2 people quitting in the same week wasn't that easy at all. anyway, our very busy week is finally over; 2 presentations and 1 bio test down. received not too bad feedback from our lecturers for presentation which was such a relief..really. got back my bio test results; and i'm happy with the grade; hard work paid off. on friday, our lecturer announced something to us which made all of us very happy. apparently, they did some changes to our nursing structure & decided to let us spend our CNY in peace; without having to stay in and study. i'll be having my 2 weeks attachment during CNY (probably at IMH?) and my exam is pushed back a few weeks, which means that i'll be able to go bai-nian on chu 1 & 2. yay! i'm really jumping for joy..thank God for all these arrangements! here's a random picture which we took a week or two ago during bio class using wendy's cam:  anyway, it's hari raya today; and i'm sure all of ya must be enjoying this day ya? have a good rest everyone..
