Tuesday, August 18, 2009 11:41 PM Thank you all, for bearing with this lack in blogging for erm, over a month or so? I've been overwhelmed by studies, exams, projects and work. Lately, just managed to finish the stretch of exams. I was really looking forward to the end of exams, but to think that I fell sick immediately after my last paper. I guess, due to tiredness and lack of sleep. But all i could say was that, they sure picked a gd timing. Nice. On my b'day, I was quite sick as well. But still, I didn't let go of the chance to have a gd meal. Even tho I lost my taste temporarily due to flu, we still managed to get to Minoru (a Jap restaurant) for dinner. Sushi is good with authentic japanese chefs serving, place is very japanese-like. Thank u dear, for ur sub-card and i-phone sponsoring. I hope to get my iphone in Oct, waiting 4 MIO plan to reach 18 mths. Anyway, now tt i've finished my exams, it's now back to work at NUH. I've just started work at W52, surgical ortho ward. and it's been VERY tiring. I really didn't have much time to spend w my family nowadays considering that I've to study the minute I gt home. I've to revise my medications, my nursing skills and some other misc things. Cos the instructor will grade us and ask qns on the spot or ask u to perform dressing. I did a ventrogluteal injection, served medications and pre-op preparations today. Now tt im in Yr 2, it's no longer junior's work like helping patients to bathe, clean shit etc. A lot of things to learn and so lil time to read up. I knock off at 9pm today. and I've been at the computer since 10pm to read up. I'm so tired. God will give me the strength to move on.. because I really cannot do it on my own. Weekends r gonna be spent for FYP project too, to be submitted on 1st week when our new sem reopens in Oct. This course is too weary and I can't wait for it to end..really. Oh btw, this dec I will be going to St luke already, will be a junior staff nurse. :) And I'll be done w sch by dec, so fast right? Actually, im quite scared. Alot of responsiblity but so lil pay, is it justifiable? Ok, maybe intrinsic satisfaction. It's 1-9 tmr again. Good night world.
