All in all, the bus journey from CCK to NUH kills me; especially when the morning traffic is a little heavy. The walk to Kent Ridge Wing is a little more bearable; im attached to Ward 43 Surgical Ward. We had a little orientation session today by Sister Daphne; a young nursing manager. Eldwin, my classmate, was very comical; did alot of silly things to make us laugh. It's fun having him around in our group.

Anyway, I've been assigned to Cub 1-5 by Sister Daphne, and it's a MRSA ward.. This is simply great! Tomorrow, a few of our patients will be coming back from surgery; certainly hope that I can make full use of the opportunity to learn learn learn!! Am revising my lab skills work now; have forgotten quite a fair bit already.. And this malay ITE stud nurse which im paired with is always asking me questions which really stress me out. Ahh.

Tues & Wed will be on 1230pm to 830pm shift, along with Fong Chin. The rest will be on 7-3pm shift..Booo! I'll work hard, jiayou!

Btw, thank u all for yr bday wishes. Appreciate it, for remembering! I had a simple & enjoyable birthday with D.. Also met up with my closest friends like RHYS & Priscilla, really good to catch up with them.. Thanks guys for all the gifts & all, loves. :-)
