holiday in a nutshell
Monday, October 13, 2008 9:53 PM i haven't been blogging since i came back to singapore from hongkong. my lazy bunny genes are acting up again. it has been all good; travelling with my dearest tho my menses came at the utmost wrong timing which resulted in my terrible mood swings; he was the poor thing who had to endure all of my nonsense. travelling is very tiring, waking up uber early at 7plus and travelling to the places we had planned for until 11plus in the night, def not easy for me, at least. 800 over photos were taken by me, the photo queen, he was shocked at the amt of photos i can take, and i suspect he might be secretly pissed too. x_x ( i really take too many photos huh? ) i am very happy with my agnes b's buys over there; he splurged on tt for me. surprisingly, i didn't get a lot of clothes over there; which i thought i would; got quite a few bags there instead. ladies street definately is a place for bargain buys, which is suitable for us. we went to harbour city shopping mall but returned quite empty handed except for my agnes b; but it was a disaster when we went to ladies street; our hands were so full fr carrying our buys.. the most enjoyable part of the trip was at lantau island, where we visited the big buddha statue.. the weather was a little off; rainy, cold and very windy with signal 1 typhoon.. our umbrella almost flew away. we almost thought that we couldn't visit the big buddha due to the bad weather; but hack, we still went anyway. cable car ride was almost like a rollercoaster ride; very shaky since there was strong wind outside; fr inside the cable car, we couldnt see the outside once we reach the top of the mountain due to fog. it was def an experience.. i love it. now that i'm back to singapore, i wished that i'm back there once again.. i'll not throw my temper at you this time round, dee. :P we've kind of talked about our holiday plans ahead and i'm quite looking forward; relaxation trip to bintan next apr and graduation trip to taiwan the year after. hey, i hope it comes true.. really. btw..sch started today. excited "Hi's" to every face i met once i walked into the classroom; at mid-day, my mood was back to sian mode. today is a 9-5 day; with 1 hour break at 10am; was dozing off by 2-3pm and there, i'm all packed and done once the clock reaches 430, and zoom, i'm outta there by 445 once class finishes. a whole load of lecture notes which costs me $42.50; i better study it hard. this semester is gonna be terrible; in another 2-3 weeks, i'm gg to have my CPR exam. good luck, seriously. i need a lot of luck. oh, we were talking about chinese new year next yr; my 1st day of study break falls on reunion dinner night and we probably won't be able to go relatives house and bai nian next yr as the following week is probably another full week of exams. and for 2010 CNY, i'll be doing my final attachment (PRCP) in st luke's and gotta do shift.. hopefully i won't kanna the night shift slot on reunion. ahh.. psst, my classmate jeen has quit the course.. it's sucha waste to give up at this pt in time, paying sucha huge amt of money to the hospital. but well, i understand the struggles she is gg thrg. it's not easy; and will get tougher. hiakz.. let's hope none of us will give up..none! we shall all survive and take the nurses's pledge in 2010! *i miss my nee nee
