Little Faith's blog
Friday, April 4, 2008 10:51 PM

I teared when I was reading Little Faith's blog. She is the caregiver of her mother who passed away from cancer. Her writings brought back painful memories of the period my own mother had cancer. It wasn't easy, for my family and myself.

It was a tough fight. I teared silently every other night; as I had no other avenue to release the amount of stress that was building onto me. However, I really salute my mother as she exhibit the greatest bravery a woman can ever show. Even without her right eye, she strives to live life happily.

She's in remission now; and I pray that there will be no recurrence. I've been telling her what to eats and what not to eats. Whenever we buy supper back, she would want a bit. In the past, I used to relent and let her eat. But now, no. No more suppers. I must watch over her diet and make sure she eat whats proper.

But what still matters is being happy.

"A cheerful heart is good medicine." Proverbs 17:22
