My first day
Monday, April 14, 2008 8:08 PM *screamsss* I had a long day in school today. It started off with nursing lab lessons in a ward enviroment with Mdm Asmah, a very funny and friendly lecturer. She told us lotsa stories about her experience as a nursing manager in KK Women's as well as some student nurses stories. It went on to 'Foundations of Nursing' lecture with Mdm Ee and 'Biological Science' with Dr. Yong. The lectures stretches for 4 hours, and I almost fell into a coma, guess I wasn't too used to sitting in lectures and listening YET. Anyway, I must get used to it FAST. There's not much time left, the pace is super fast for this course. Actually, there's a big hoo-haa about our timetable. Remember that I mentioned that I thought the timetable was ok? It turns out that the course coordinator (my lecturer, Mdm Ee) missed out a module -Biological Science- in the timetable, no wonder some of the days were so short. I secretly was feeling very happy inside me that I can go home so early on some days! Well, it's not.. I knew it, I can't be so lucky! It's 9-6 or 8-6 every single day EXCEPT for Wed (8-3). That's it, I'm going to ____. (I shall not say the unlucky word) I really need to read up on the 'Biological Science' lecture notes which we went through today, it's really confusing with all that medical terms and anatomy descriptions. I'm so feeling the tiredness and stress in me already. Tomorrow is another 9-6 day and we'll be having Bio lectures as well as practical with Dr. Yong.
