Nice meet-up

Y'day was spent with Pekhar dearie, Liana, Derek and his bunch of friends at Fraser Suites. Liana is Pekhar's ex-colleague and I met her before once, when I joined them to club last year. Since then, she has always been so nice to invite me for gatherings or meetups but I was never free, sad to say. Anyway, finally managed to meetup with her. This meetup was actually a farewell dinner for Derek, her bf who's going back to Calgary on the 20th.

Anyway, it's been really nice meeting people, from different countries like Korea, US, Thailand, Philippines etc. The best part was, really, the food. I totally adore the chicken curry and beehoon which Liana made, painstakingly. She was so busy in the kitchen while we were watching tv in the living room. Tho it was just simple fare, but I totally savour and gorge like I didn't eat for a few mths. Well, my usual pattern, who cares bt image? Lol.

I noticed a reasonably average cute guy who was there as well. He was a Korean, and his name sounded something like Kim Oh. Though we managed to introduce each other, but I didn't really catch his name. Oh well, I'm not interested fyi. I was telling Pekhar that he was cute and asked if she was interested. She said, no! Maybe she's secretly interested in him afterall! Matchmaking?

I'm browsing through my nursing booklist for Sem 1, and realises to my horror, that there are more than 10 books to get. The ones Venus passed to me weren't in the list, only one of it is, and it's not the exact same title but seems like. Ok great, now I've to worry whether my nursing allowance for this month will bring me through. I decided that I will go to school and check with my fellow classmates/mentor whether all these are really necessary.

I randomly browsed through one of the thick books which Venus passed me. The title was 'Fundamentals of Anatomy and Physiology'. The word 'Anatomy' reminded me of the popular drama hit series 'Gray's Anatomy'. It's getting me interested in the drama although I haven't seen it before. Alright, I shall go watch it if I can afford the time by the end of this week.
