don't give up your inheritance for anything of this world

"i was reminded to tell u that you are a princess in God's eyes... and so very precious...Don't forget this, your calling, for God really loves u, and you have a high calling for your life. i also feel God's heart to remind you not to give up or exchange your inheritence as God's princess for anything of the world." when i read the daily devotional for today, it says... In the parable of the sower Jesus said, "Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the Word; but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the Word, making it unfruitful" (Mark 4:18-19 NIV). Notice, the problem is not the sower or the seed, it's the soil. Jesus said they "hear the word", so we're talking about churchgoers with a pre-existing mindset that chokes every Scripture they hear, read, or try to apply. Jesus describes these thorns as: "The worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things" (Mark 4:19).
