watchmen gala premier
Tuesday, March 3, 2009 4:25 PM  we were at the gala premiere of "Watchmen" at Shaw with dee's bunch of gd friends yesterday, courtesy of Jasmine who reserved the tickets for us. i was actually half looking forward to the show as i thought the trailer seem to be quite exciting. but it turns out to be very draggy and hey, we don't like it at all! it's quite a long show and i think u can consider watching only if u've the free time and cash. anyway, it seems that i appear to be on the "missing" mode to some of my friends. hey, i'm still alive and well la, don't worry. i'm back to NUH now, at paedetrics oncology ward. it's a ward for children with cancer..and it's really heartbreaking to see the kids suffer at such a young age. the side effects of chemo really is horrigible. were doing oral toilet (mouthwash) for a kid earlier, and she was screaming and crying because her mouth & lips were full of ulcers. almost teared a few times. and i really ain't having it better when i'm doing attachment. everyday, my clinical instructor gives us "homework" to research on and we're supposed to do an individual case study as well as a group presentation to the ward sister next friday. everyday is like fighting a battle to me. it's quite tiring... anyway, looking forward to the meetup on sat w rhys and mao and hopefully xuan!! =)
